Do you have any Jeans with some @$$?

Man, I tell you what, I have never had such hell trying to find a pair of jeans. I admit, I'm pretty picky when it comes to the clothing I wear, but Saturday was re-freakin-dicous. I already have a sense that some readers are going to think I'm shallow for even spending time on this subject because it's of a material nature. Well, don't read it then. It's important, to me, how my clothing fits and hell yeah how it looks. King Solomon wrote that we should robe our selves in our very best for we no not our last day. I'd also like to make a point that I'm not a shop-aholic, I can't spend more than a few hours in a mall, and the only jean I had that actually fit were falling apart in the crotch.
Now that I've cleared that up, I'll continue. Saturday, Heidi and I drove up north to Seattle. She dressed up all cute and classy, which in my book classy is sexy as it gets. On that note, I'm really frustrated seeing so many people thinking that the more skin they show they sexier they must be. I would have to disagree 100%. I don't know where we went wrong, but I want to know where the Aubrey Hepburn's and James Deans of the world went. These to icons, in my book, have a perfect balance of class and sass. Anyhow, Heidi and I headed north and got to Bellevue about 1:00, just in time to spend a 20 min wait at the Cheese Cake Factory for lunch. We ordered some breaded calamari and because we were feeling a little daring we tried the Spicy Thai Stake Salad. It was a good thing we split it too, because that was deff a platter for 4.
Afterwards, we headed into Bell-square in search for a pair of jeans. This commonly isn't such a big deal or a huge problem, but this time was different. First off, the store where I love to get my jeans, Fossil, apparently closed some weeks ago. Why not just move onto some other store and find a comparable pair you might ask? Well, I'll tell you why. Unlike most men, I actually have an ass. I'm not complaining, in fact I get compliments on it all the time. I love that I have an ass because its one feature I have that requires no maintenance and the opposite sex always seems to notice. The only problem is that the clothing companies of America have all designed their jeans around men with a syndrome I call "flat ass." It's for the scrawny boys of the US who for whatever reason thinks skinny is buff. I, for one, am not that guy. I stand 6foot 1in and weight in at a good 220lbs, I have a 32in waist and a chest of 43in. I'm lean where muscle naturally doesn't build and for the most part thick where it does. I haven't done anything to ask for it this way, I get it from my Pops, and I'm more than ok with it. Now, what I like about Fossil is that they have a pair of jeans that host what I call the "4 essentials": first, they have an ass, second, a generous boot-cut, thirdly, a good variety of washes, and forth a reasonable price of $48.00. Being that Fossil was no longer an option that day and that I needed to get some jeans over the weekend I was forced to hunt.
The first place was American Eagle, Heidi encouraged me to try on jeans even if I didn't like them just by looking at them, I disagreed but put up little fight because I felt in no circumstance to argue. Ironically, not one pair I liked, other than the one's I picked out on my own. I had them put on hold and headed to Abercrombie. A&F was a total flop because what they call a boot-cut I call a straight cut and what they call a straight cut I call a tapered. I don't understand how if you can see the width of the leg gradually digress from the thigh to the ankle that you would call it a straight cut. After the Cromb we headed to Nordstrom's because
we heard they were having their half yearly sale, but soon realized that must have only applied to women's clothing, because not a damn thing was on sale in the men's section. Finally, after Macy's, Hollister, Gap, and Men's Express, I found some Jeans I loved. They are called the "Fender Jeans"(fitting how I play guitar) and they are only found and a Lucky Jeans Retailer. Man they looked great, but oh yeah did I mention that Lucky doesn't put prices on their jeans, so you have to ask how much they are. $114.00 they were and in the store the stayed. Feeling completely worn out and frustrated I headed back to American Eagle and got the jeans I had put on hold. Wearing them now for a couple days I realize how much I love them. I would love to, at some point when I really get my self into shape, get myself a *nice* pair of jeans, but I need to drop some weight before I drop the change. For now, my message to all men's jeans manufactures...BOOTCUT WITH SOME ASS PLEASE!
