Update
Wow, I can't believe how long it’s been since my last entry. If you were anyone who started to read and follow my blog I'm sorry that I just vanished. Well lets try starting this up again. I think there’s a lot of benefit to writing out one’s thoughts and feelings and well I don't think there are very many people out there that really know how I think or really even know me and I surmise this could be a good way to let some of me out. I tend to sensor myself when I'm around others just to keep a situation mellow. I'm working on being more honest and upfront. Granted, putting out your opinion online is about as courageous as a 4-year-old girl petting a soft bunny rabbit, but hey we're taking things one step at a time.
Well in the last year I..... Finally got a degree, granted not one that really has any glory being that it was an Associates but I'm glad I have it. My next move is to get my Bachelors from the Art Institute in Portland, starting hopefully this fall. Heidi and I got a super adorable Boxer puppy and we named her Bailey. She is honestly the pivot our lives revolve around. She is the best child any parent could hope for and more. She's almost a year now. I no longer work at REI, I didn't make the cut for the permanent position, something about a dirty conversation I had with a lesbian from Colorado... It was actually a blessing because I was offered a job that allowed me to do what I love. Play guitar and sing. I was hired by a church in February to be the Youth Worship director where I built a 5 person youth worship group that played and sang every Sunday. About August I ended my roll there with too much politics taking over and my heart for the Lord and my job dieing quickly. I'm still working on where I stand with God, but like any real relationship it has its good and well difficult moments. I started doing free-lance graphic design on the side while I finished up school. Unfortunately, I couldn't handle the work load while in school so I pretty much dropped out of it and now I'm training to be a bartender, hoping for a finically stable job that I won't have to bring home. At the moment that's all I can think of that is pretty major... oh, other than Heidi and I managing to live in our own place in Tacoma for about a year before the complex went up for sale. We now live in Puyallup, and she’s the floor Manager and a fine dinning Italian restaurant. No, not Olive Garden, a real Italian restaurant with a head Chef and such. I'm sign out here. Big love.
